Hi,
I have the S70 model.
I wonder if it is possible to use the water proof cover without the TFT display attached to the camera?
If TFT display is not attached there will be a space created between the back of the camera and the back cover.
It might cause the camera to move.
Alternative -
Is it possible that TFT display is attached to the camera but is off/not in use?
As it is a high battery consumer, I would like to turn the screen off when I don't need it.

Hello, Yes you can. In standard accessories you should have two kind of back covers .  Your alternative option it's good idea . |

Hi obywatel2x, thanks for the reply. 1. the water proof back cover is deeper than the regular back cover. It is supposed to contain the TFT screen as well. I am afraid that the camera will move when the TFT display is not attached. 2. How can I turn off the TFT display? I did not find the option. Thanks |

1 Sorry I was thinking that the standard also is water proof. We back to beginning.
Try use a piece of sponge
2 TFT display should have options on/off but designers forgot to include this option.
May by when they make firmware update they include this option ?

Does the TFT display turn off if you press and hold the SHUTTER button for 3 seconds? It does on my nabi Square HD and my Swann camera.
